Pilates Apparatus Level 1
Pilates Apparatus classes include instruction on the Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chair and the Pilates Arc. Small pieces of equipment like the foam roller, myofascial rolling balls, and the Pilates Ring may be incorporated into each class. This class is designed to strengthen the deep abdominals and back muscles while improving range of motion at all of the major joints.
Pilates Apparatus Level 1/2
This class continues to build on the Pilates Movement Principles while exploring more challenge in Level 1 & 2 exercises on the Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chair and Arcs. The movement sequences become more complex which adds an exciting level of challenge for improved coordination, balance and strength.
Pilates Apparatus Level 2
Pilates Apparatus Level Two exercises on the Pilates Chair, Reformer and Arcs offer a variety of movement sequences that will enhance your overall strength and coordination. This class has a strong focus on building deep core strength with flexibility. Level two progressions are taught with extra challenges and can be modified to your own individual level.
Pilates Apparatus Level 3
Explore the excitement of level 3 exercises on the Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chair and Arcs to improve overall body coordination, flexibility and strength. Participants will reap the rewards of feeling challenged on all levels. Pre-requisite: Participants must understand and perform Level 2 exercises well before entering this class.
Pilates Apparatus Restorative
Our Restorative Pilates Apparatus Class allows participants to feel supported and aligned throughout the entire session. This class is appropriate for participants that want to increase flexibility and various ranges of motion at all major joints of the body in a gentle way. Pre and post-rehabilitative clients are welcome.
Pilates Core Stretch
Learn the Pilates Movement Principles combined with Therapeutic Restorative Yoga. With precise activation and alignment in the Yoga postures, your nervous system will respond positively. Clients leave this class feeling grounded and balanced in their mind, body and soul.
Foot Care Essentials
Put a spring in your step with our Foot Care Essential Workshop. You will learn simple exercises that mobilize and strengthen the feet while decreasing swelling in the lower legs. This self empowering class will help you feel more connected to your feet especially if you have had a previous foot or ankle injury.
